This lot features the resilient Catimor varietal, grown in the rich highlands of Yunnan where the climate and elevation contribute to its balanced sweetness and smooth body. Through the sugarcane decaffeination process — a natural method using ethyl acetate derived from sugarcane — the coffee retains much of its original character while delivering a clean and mellow cup.
In the cup, expect notes of cane sugar, toasted bread, malt, and chocolate. The profile is smooth, comforting, and rounded, with gentle sweetness and low acidity. Its warm, familiar flavours create an easy-drinking experience suitable for both black coffee and milk-based beverages.
